This vehicle is under recall notice 15S27. It was found to have cracks in the rear axle which had been previously repaired. The notice asks me to pay $300 for a new rear axle. Or, if I say no then the car remains unsafe and I have no alternative. This is gouging in lieu of safety. Ford created the problem and are liable. As of today the car is unsafe and I am on the hook to get it repaired and Ford gets away with a bogus repair system.
