My father, husband & I have been trying to bleed the brakes on my van for 2 days now to no avail. We can get the front right and rear left to bleed but not the rear right and front left ones. We called a mechanic friend at Ford. He suggested checking the ABS pump lines {located to the right of the Master Cylinder, which we already replaced}. Also, he said to check the ABS module, located under the center of the van {this is where all 4 lines come off of}. I am told that I have a lot of rust in this area. I plan on calling Ford in the AM to inquire about what they checked on my van pertaining to the recall from October, 2009, which I pasted below, {vehicle speed control}, in which they check the wiring harness and replace it if necessary and also check the ABS module {I had already replaced the electrical tape covering this wiring harness since they checked mine over a year ago because it was falling off due to brake fluid on it!!! }. Hope they can fix it under the recall because I don't plan on paying for it.
