After purchasing van, not even one month later all lights started to turn on engine, ABS now N and its a rear light on gauge panel also we are in the middle of trying to get decent price for the freeze plug which also needs to be replaced because there is a leak of coolant from the bottom of van. Other wise its ok to drive. One I thing I didn't mention is the seat its struck it wont move back or forward with the electrical button.
While stopped at red light, our Ford Windstar was rear-ended by a Ford Focus estimated to be going 50-60mph. Both of us in the front seats suffered severe calf muscle injuries. We believe these were caused by the manual seat adjustment bar that runs the full width of the seat. We were both wearing seatbelts. An additional note: The driver's seatback broke on impact. Is there any history of leg trauma caused by seat hardware in rear-end collisions?
The vehicle was rear ended and driver's seat failed. It fell completely back on the middle row seat. Usually my youngest child (baby at the time) would have been (in her child seat) in the middle row and I'm sure she would have been killed if she had been in the van that day.
Drivers side seat has a piece of metal that has pierced through the seat. Took vehicle to dealer, and they stated part was no longer available, and seat would be patched up. Metal is dangerous and tears clothes up.

The power captain seat was replaced due to a defect in the frame, consumer states since the replacement, the armrest will not stay attached to the seat and while driving, the armrest will just pop off, throwing the driver off balance.

Horn is very hard to deploy; sweet spot too small and requires excessive effort. Cannot be used quickly. Ford corporate refused to respond to my worries about this. Also seatback lever springs middle seats back so hard I have been whacked in the head so hard I saw stars.
Drivers side under seat airbag impact sensor was not mounted firmly to floor. It was just dangling from the wiring harness, effectively disabling the airbags. Dealer looked at seat pedestal and determined that the wrong seat mount was installed at the factory. Dealer is installing the correct seat mount. I am not convinced that the passenger side airbag wiring has been done correctly either.
