Paint is peeling off of van interor remain on panel shows door open when its not and the lights will not go out until you reach about 20mph try driving at night with this.
Loss of front right wheel while driving. While driving the front passenger side wheel separated from the vehicle. The separation caused damage to the front passenger side fender. It was later determined the wheel in question separated from the vehicle as a result of inappropriate clamping force to the assembly. It also appeared that the lack of clamping force was the result of an under torqued wheel or a wheel and a brake rotor combination the was inappropriately seated. The rear wipers were defective and the air conditioner was inoperative.
When a turn was made or the brakes were applied there was a loud popping noise. The location of the noise was unknown, therefore the dealer was unable to correct the problem.

The interior courtesy lamps do not go out when doors are closed. Door ajar light comes on. Ford is well aware of this problem and its a safety issue as driver cannot see during night driving unless fuse is pulled. Interior lights cannot be shut off with the dimmer switch!!.. dealers play dumb when you discuss this issue. Three neighbors have same problem. This is an accident waiting to happen!!!!!!!!
While driving there is excessive smoke coming out of the tail pipe, mechanic does not have solution for consumer concern. Dealer replaced defective bank #2 hego sensor. But consumer states problem still exist. Door light on dash board illuminated. A special part was ordered.
This van is 3 years old. Corrosion most likely caused the problem with strut rods & sway bar links. Obviously this manufacturer was not concerned with quality B/C of all these problems. The Ford company will not reimburse me (my van is no longer covered by factory warranty) unless they issue a recall on any particular problem. I just don't understand why I would have all these problems with a vehicle that was less than 2 yrs old when the problems started. Maybe you can't help me, but I wanted to lodge a complaint.
There have been several recalls issued and I was not properly notified. By looking at the recalls I think that I may have been charged by the dealership for a recall issue.
Contacted Ford, they don't seem to want to fix this problem because warrenty is out. Vehicle two years old. Should not have this problem. No safety defect listed within summary.
Was traveling 35mph when brakes were applied, the brake pedal went to the floor. Happened twice. Took to dealer & mechanic could not locate problem. Intermittent problem.
