Since buying this thing, you can not get the last 5 gallons in it with out taking 5 to 10 minutes to do it. Try doing this when the gas station is packed and your standing there only getting 20 cents or so in at a time, NOT FUN! And don't dare put a locking gas cap on it, or you will have problems and the service light will come on. To say the Windstar is a piece of junk from the start is an understatement.
Since getting this used 1998 windstar. We can't get the last 5 gallons of gas in it without it taking forever. It apparently has air in it that keeps it from going in. Unless you put the last 5 gallons in very, very, very slowly. You no sooner pull up on the gas nozzle and gas begins to flow when it cuts the nozzle off. It takes forever to get it full. I have no idea if this can be fixed. I wish it could.
