Consumer called complaining about front brake problems. The brakes squeaked for a long time until they were replaced. Also, front coil spring problems. Consumer started vehicle and a terrible noise came from the front of the vehicle. She stopped, and had vehicle towed to the dealer. Dealer did an alignment, and told consumer that front coils needed to be replaced.
When brakes were applied pedal went to the floor, resulting in extended stopping distance. Dealer inspected vehicle, and put on pads and rotors prior to the incident.
1)all 5 lugs: Nuts sheared off from the right front passenger hub, causing the wheel to leave the vehicle. The body of the vehicle traveled approximately 200 feet until it stopped. 2)the rear brakes had to be replaced with new pads and rotors. Dealer couldn't explain why this was a problem. 3) the next day the right passenger mirror electical system no longer worked. 4)the parking brake consistently does not disengage after use. We no longer use it, possibly creating a safety hazard. 5) the vehicle intermittently stalls out at low speeds or upon stopping. Additionally the initial gears shift hard and loud. 6) the rear seat will not move on the track.
While driving about 45 mph the brake warning light came on. Driver applied the brakes and heard a crunching noise. The van pulled to the right, and driver heard a grinding noise. Driver was able to drive the van home. Then it was driven to the dealership, where the brake rotors/ pads and shoes were replaced.
