There is no quick fix to this problem. I started having the problem in Feb/10 - brought to the mechanic next door to where I work. I gave this guy $900 and he puts compression fittings on the rear back lines (illegal in Canada - unsafe they can't hold the pressure in a brake line and can BLOW - killing someone and me). After I gave him $900 (pedal fade was much better) but it was still not normal. I drove the car for 2 months as the pedal fad became increasingly worse. When I just about had no braking at all I drove it back to his shop he had changed the Master Cylinder (he says 3 times). No change. I finally took the car to FORD and after taking $100 dollars they told me there was nothing they could do and I could spend $3000 and fix the HCU (hydraulic control unit - ABS) and it still not work....I FINALLY SCRAPPED THE CAR (which my father left to me when he passed away 1 year prior)
