It all started with the overdrive light flashing causing it to shift up and down erratically Ford said it was our computer for our tranny and cost about $1000 for the part. Which we fixed by taking the battery hook up off for 30 sec. fix the problem for another 2 years hehehe screw you ford. Then a month ago the tranny slips and i only have 2nd gear. I call around and get told to shoot it by numerous mechanics. Or pay $4000 for a rebuilt one. So I drive it to see what happens I end up getting to drive it for 1000km more in 4th gear it shifting in 2nd of course. Weird i know. But the real kicker is once and a while it will drive in drive as if nothing had happened shift like new. Changed the fluid cleaned the shaving and filter. Now it will not drive in anything but 1 gear guess it is really time to shoot it.
We are thinking about filling tires with propane and shooting at for a while gotta get a little smile some how
