When applying gas pedal vehicle would hesitate in first and second gear. RPM display would jump around. Dealer rplaced speed sensor, and problem still exists.
While driving and coming to a stop and when attempting to accelerate applied force to accelerator pedal, and vehicle did not respond. Also, vehicle did not go into gear. Consumer has contacted dealer, dealer noted problem was linked to a crack in transmission due to type of material used for transmission. Consumer also, transmission needed to be replaced.
When driving on a two lane highway at 50 mph and upon depressing the brake pedal to come to a gradual stop, accelerator pedal was sticking, causing the vehicle to continue to accelerate. Consumer has contacted the manufacturer. Manufacturer refused to provide any assistance. Throttle return spring came off post on the throttle linkage.
After stopping and upon depressing the gas pedal vehicle would not travel. Consumer would have to shift to low gear to continue.dealer has been notified.
Started vehicle; felt like it was accelerating. Noticed rpms were revving. Applied brakes hard to stop. Fuel throttle was open. Accelerator pedal stuck.
While driving around town. Heard a funny sound, restarted vehicle and the temperature gauge went high. Towed to dealer, and dealer determined that head gasket blew out and needed to have the engine flushed. Contacted dealer, and replaced head gasket. Oil light was coming on. Dealer said that vehicle will continue to have problems. Stepped on gas pedal and vehicle would hesitate when stopping, then shut off.
When vehicle is at stand still it will roll backwards, and when gas pedal is depressed vehicle races forward. Dealer noted problem was forward piston clutch.
While driving and coming to a stop and appying the gas pedal, the vehicle jerked and took off. The aluminum piston went bad, and the kennedy transmission it with a steel pistion, and the shifting wasn't acting properly.
