Some 2019 Transit Connect vehicles built on 28-May-2018 and through 24-Oct-2018 may exhibit lack of power steering assist, diagnostic trouble code (DTC) U0131 present, lost communication with the power steering control module (PSCM), the body control module (BCM), the instrument cluster (IC), and/or the steering column control module (SCCM). Inspect mega fuse F2 (80 Amp) powering the PSCM. Some F2 fuses may be open due to over tightening and may need replacement. If the fuse integrity is verified, proceed with standard repair processes.
