Affected Component: EXTERIOR LIGHTING:FOG LIGHTS
- Summary
- SOME 2014-2017 TRANSIT CONNECT VEHICLES ARE EQUIPPED WITH CORNERING LAMPS. THE CORNERING LAMPS SHARE THE SAME BULB AS THE FOG LAMPS AND ILLUMINATE WHEN THE VEHICLE SPEED IS LESS THAN 25 MPH AND THE BODY CONTROL MODULE (BCM) RECEIVES A REQUEST FOR A TURN SIGNAL OR THE STEERING WHEEL IS TURNED GREATER THAN 35 DEGREES FROM CENTER. BEFORE DIAGNOSING A RIGHT OR LEFT FOG LAMP THAT MAY SEEM TO BE STUCK ON, TURN THE STEERING WHEEL BACK TO CENTER. IF THE LAMP GOES OFF, THE VEHICLE IS EQUIPPED WITH CORNERING LAMPS AND ARE WORKING AS DESIGNED. REFER TO THE WORKSHOP MANUAL SECTION 417-01 EXTERIOR LIGHTING.
