This is the third time this has happened in a 3 year period and the vehicle is driven regularly. The first time Ford fixed it and it cost me $30. The second time I fixed it and now another time and $50. When I talked to the dealer I was told it happens to them all the time. It is because the insulation on the wiring is made from corn shucks. I called Ford customer service and was told they had not heard about this happening. The dealership says it happens all the time and have many customers complaining to them about this too. Customer service had no answers and did not seem to be to concerned about it. I like the vehicle but will not keep it or buy another if they do not fix it. I also own other Fords which are much older and have never had this problem.
