The AdvanceTrac RSC (traction control system) can not be manually disabled or turned off. This results in really dangerous situations where the truck becomes inoperable in poor driving conditions or driving up any degree of incline on muddy or slick roads. I feel like there should be some of minimum speed cutoff for the AdvanceTrac RSC like 5-10mph.
I recently had to drive through some snow that was really deep. Instead of being able to spin the tires and a build some momentum through it, the AdvanceTrac RSC kept trying to limit wheel spin and I got stuck. Then when I was stuck I still couldn't disable the system, so I ended up needing a tow!
There needs to be some sort of manual override for this system!
