Ford TSB #SSM 50720
2021 Ford Transit
TSB Document:
Affected Component: PARKING BRAKE
- Summary
- 2020-2022 Transit vehicles equipped with the push down parking brake lever operate differently than the standard parking brake. When the push down parking brake is engaged by pulling the lever upward to its fullest extent, the lever can then be lowered and raised without the parking brake becoming disengaged. To disengage the parking brake, the button must be pressed and held when the lever is in the most upward position, prior to lowering the lever. Refer to the Owner's Manual for additional information.
