We was going to a week long camp.The individual in the front passenger seat said to the driver that he was not feeling good and told the driver that he was going to take a nap. Before he laid back he looked in the back of the van to check on the kids. As he looked back one kid appeared to be having a seizure. So the driver immediately pulled over. I was following in another van. So I pulled over and went up to the van to see what the issue was and opened the side door. The kids was all hanging there heads sick and vomiting.We hurried and called 911 for help.When the medics got there they informed us of carbon monoxide poisoning. So we took the van to the next town and dropped the van off at the dealership and had to rent another van to go on with our trip. So on our way back home we picked the van back up from the dealership. It was after hours so we called ahead and paid for the repair. They replaced the rear door seal. How ever before we picked it up we purchased a co detector to put in the van. We went a very short distance and the alarm went off. so we had to travel the rest of the way home with the windows down approximately 10 hours. We now have the van at another dealership back closer to home. the dealership is now telling us there is a plug missing under the van and that we need to buy a tail pipe extension that ford has designed to get the exhaust fumes out from under the van. they are also telling us that the vehicle will not pass a state safety inspection with it dumping the exhaust fumes under the van and this will be repaired at our expense. Now my question is if there was not a design flaw why did Ford design a tail pipe extension" Also as i drive down the road I notice all the newer van have an extended tail pipe. Also would the tail pie not be part of the emissions and if it is why would this not be covered by the 8 year 80000 mile emissions warranty" this is a very serious situation. As we talked to a phyishion she said we was minutes from death

The right side passenger door opens when driving. The door will not stay latched even when locked. I close the door, pull on it to ensure it is latched, but when I start driving, the door slides open. This is my family vehicle used to transport our children, and is a very dangerous situation.

This is the second time this has occurred. The van lost sudden power causing me to almost be hit from behind a second time now. This is only 3 months after the initial occurrence. The Ford manufacturer is aware.

Regarding 2018 Ford Transit XLT 15 passenger with ecoboost engine. The factory installed air conditioning system does not have the capacity to cool down the van's cabin, in southern states like South Florida, where the ambient temperature reaches 85+ degrees Fahrenheit during a sunny day through most of the year, the vehicle's A/C system simply fails to properly cool down the cabin. Several cases have been opened with Ford Motor Company, and the service department at the Ford dealerships fail to even acknowledge the problem. They run their diagnostics tools, and all the components on the system are working as intended, except that it does not provides sufficient cold air to make the passengers safely and comfortably ride the van. Un fortunately, this is an issue that the owners don't discover until after they have purchased the vehicle and driven it for a while. Ford is not providing any solution whatsoever to the problem. And this issue may be affecting all owners of the same vehicle with similar trims and specs. Additional testing and certification of the issue by independent certified vehicle A/C technicians and engineers are being gathered. Further legal action may follow.

Battery kept draining-found out 2 batteries under the driver's seat and the fuel is put in at the driver's seat door. The door must stay opened during fueling. Also, the battery draining and numerous replacements found due to incorrect wiring again. This is a conversion van by Explorer, and we've already had antifreeze leakage which is still a problem with the smell. The vehicle is still at repair shop in millersville for another month. Mva investigator kevin chubb directed us to investigate this fuel system and battery system placement for inspection. He felt as we did that it is a health and safety hazard.
