Some 2011-2018 Super Duty and 2015-2018 Transit vehicles equipped with diesel engines may exhibit diagnostic trouble code (DTC) U0100 stored in various modules after running a continuous memory diagnostic trouble code (CMDTC) test or network test using Integrated Diagnostic System (IDS). If there are no observable symptoms related to a loss of communication with the PCM and the DTC is not set when running individual on-demand self-tests of the modules, do not attempt any repairs at this time.
