I was driving in my neighborhood about 20mph and the spare tire fell off the truck near pedestrians walking on side of road. At that point i had under 50000mi on vehicle and only 5 1/2 years old. Lucky not on highway with a motorcycle or car behind me. That could have resulted in a major accident.

There are actually two problems that I'm experiencing repeatedly and have almost since the van was new: The lug nuts on the wheels loosen almost constantly. I have to keep a tire iron in the van at all times because I never know when a wheel will start to work loose. This happens when the wheels are torqued to Ford specs. The other problem is the wheel studs breaking off. I've probably had something like 10-12 or more shear off in the 6 years that I've had the van. This van is not used for heavy loads. It carries laundry and a typical load is almost always under 1,000 lbs. It is also not driven hard. My mechanic is baffled by both issues.

I have a 2015 Ford Transit 15 passenger vehicle that was purchased in Nov 2016 with 20,000 miles. April 2019 the driveshaft flexible coupling was replaced under warranty. In July 2019 we began hearing a noticeable vibration / subwoofer drone / hum in the vehicle.the drone doesn't happen at a specific speed but is prevalent when we're running 50-70 mph and between 2000 and 2500 RPM. This drone sound is not consistent but now vibrates the entire cabin when it does appear. I can stop the sound by pulling foot off the gas pedal. However it just re-appears at a later time. We have noted that it is progressively getting more frequent and louder - even vibrating the steering wheel. I had the autonation union city, ga dealership look at it and they explained that the torque converter (tc) is failing and causing problems with the transmission -- it would be a $3,000 repair. I have since been researching this and have found numerous others with the same vibration and for the most part - it appears the tc was the solution.. however, not always. Please see this thread - https://www.fordtransitusaforum.com/threads/driveshaft-drone-noise-survey.60498/page-7 neither Ford nor I know the exact solution until we pull the transmission but it seems that this is pointing to the tc?

Seat belts and rear axle were recalled on this vehicle six months ago, and the dealership claims they can not get parts to fix these. These are major safety issues, and should be attended to in a much more timely fashion than six months. I have consistently called for these can they tell me they cant get parts to fix these.

The contact owns a 2015 Ford Transit. While driving approximately 45-50 mph, the vehicle vibrated. The contact stated that when the vehicle was veered to the right or to the left, it vibrated uncontrollably. The failure recurred multiple times. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The approximate failure mileage was 2,000.
