MY TRANSIT CUSTOM IS DEAD. BROKEN CRANK SHAFT!!! My Google review of Titan Ford below and the fight I am now having with FORD.......
My Ford Transit Custom 80000km, 5 years old was towed in for a broken crank shaft to be diagnosed. I service my transit at The BP service centre in South Turramurra and at its latest service the problem was discovered. A video was shown of the issue to Titan Ford and Brad Garlick Ford. An inspection was arranged with Titan who agreed it was a broken crank shaft. The stamped log book was given and documents of service history to prove the van was serviced elsewhere. As a non serviceable part plus the fact that the vehicle had done very low mileage and was only 5 years old and in warranty that it would be fixed without question. Crank shafts do not just break. There would have to be something that jammed it or weak metal or something but their response was Ford have declined to fix the issue. This is where we are now. No solutions given to replace or trade the damaged vehicle, NO APOLOGY GIVEN, No email sent with pictures of their discovery as promised. NOTHING!!!!My frustration with their service there and the insult from Ford Australia explains my ONE STAR RATING.
This is my post on Google review on Titan Ford. I am fuming. I will be posting more across social media I am sorry. My experience with Ford is at rock bottom. Until now my trust in your company was solid. I was about to trade in the custom for a new one as the warranty was coming to an end. Why should I ever buy another one after this mess or recommend anyone to trust an engine only as far as 80000km. Very Poor Form Ford. No Resolution and I reject your decision not to repair the vehicle on the principal that crank shafts do not just break. Non Serviceable part..
