This Transmisson 5R55S has been listed as a defected Tran from the design . They settled with Mustang owners and some other car models but when I went in with the problem they told me they haven't had any problems with this model and the car was to old even though it only has 44,784 miles on it. But when I looked up what transmisson the other cars with the same problem were the same model 5R55S. They can not fix it or replace it my only option is to have one built by a 3rd party company, that way they can build one with out the defects from the original design . I have had this car since day one it has only been worked on by Ford . It cost $675 for the Diagnoses and 3 months . They est $7900 to $8900 if they had one built for me . The price of the Transmisson from 3rd party is $2400 plus labor.... But can't afford right now so I have a beautiful work of Art in my garage .
