phaser solenoids misfiring causing car to harshly misfire

need to replace left and right bank solenoids and phasers

The car needs over $4000 in repairs to fix this problem. It mimicked the problems with coils, so I thought it was another coil going out and, as in the past, they just couldn't identify which coil. It took three visits since I first took it in on Feb 9, 2016 to find the actual problem. Not a coil after all. In the meantime, I had been planning for some time to get the heated seat fixed and some body work done. As I thought it was just (just huh!) a coil, I went ahead and had over $2,500 worth of body work and heated seat fixed. I just had it done at the end of March. then the car acted up again. It is intermittent and often well after car is warmed up and then left sitting for about a half hour (i.e., run into the store), and it then acts up. When I took it in on April 11 (again, this is the 3rd visit) they finally identified the problem. I am really upset. If I now decide to sell, in addition to needing the engine work, I will have thrown the cost of the body work down the toilet.
