I bought another T-bird, same year and same color before I bought my present Thunderbird. I got it cheap and it needed repairs. I noticed it had bad paint and bubbles in the paint on top of the quarter panel and around the middle brake light. The middle brake light and the left tail light had melted. There were other problems with the car that made me dump the car at a loss for another low mileage Thunderbird. Since I have owned the new T-bird, I have noticed the paint on top of the left quarter panel darkening. It is on the same side as the other car. At first I thought it was my imagination. I saw it in the daylight the other day and it is no imagination.
Has anyone reported this problem yet on the T-bird? I will get an opinion from my Ford guy who treats me fairly. If that is the problem, I will fix the wiring and repaint that area. The car is spotless, never wrecked and just turned 25,000 miles.
