Car had only 28,468 miles on it when I purchased it and had been driven about 3,000 miles on short nearly local trips exclusively. The flashing check engine light had never been noted by previous owner. It didn't seem to start up until the car reached operating temp. Reading showed cylinders 2, 6 not firing. Friend told me to get coil, plugs, wires at local auto parts stop, and he tuned it up. Did same thing after driven 33 miles. Took back to local garage with replacement ignition coil that made the car run worse (3rd coil). They obtained one from another parts store and 4th time was a charm (or has been so far). Car performs very well with practically a new engine. Hope it keeps up.
