I have owned 3 T-Birds over my short lifetime, killed one, wrecked the other and I love them. But damn do they ever love to burn up alternators. I've replaced at least 5 of them over the 3 cars and about 300,000 miles, but if you know what to do they are a cake walk to replace 3 bolts, 3 wires, 30 mins you're done. Just remember buy a replacement with a lifetime warranty.
