Car was very well maintained, just came back from service (greasing etc. ok.) and after speeding up the arm broke, we were lucky to be still alive

While making a turn I heard a loud pop and then the whole car dropped. After getting out of the car I saw to my horror that the wheel was almost off the car. On top of that the car itself was touching concrete. Sold car to junk yard and bought something new.
