The engine runs rough, billows white smoke. The car had less than 50k miles on it. This should never happen before 100000 miles. The only fix is to replace the head gasket, replace engine oil, and replace O2 sensors and spark plugs. This was expensive to repair, but my mechanic said that the new head gasket is better designed, and the car has run fine since then.
