lights come on in middle of night by themselves
The local dealer found a leak and said there was an electric short due to that leak. The leak was caused by a bodywork fault, ie manufacturing fault. They fixed it, charged me $1150, and the problem re-occurred the next night. So they found another leak, fixed it and charged me another $750. Ford doesn't want any responsibility, even though it's a manufacturing fault and the car is only a couple of months out of warranty. The dealer also doesn't accept any responsibility for the first fix that did nothing at all, they still charged me for the second one as if it was a new problem. Overall a disastrous customer experience.
