I'm just posting a past issue to get it on the record. Had a 93 Tempo, bought brand new. Was the worst car I ever owned by a long shot. Had this vibration that the dealer simply could not correct under warranty. They even brought in the Ford engineers and they couldn't figure it out either. It spent months in the shop and had all manner of problems from a clutch that self-destructed at 10k miles, wheel bearings that failed, the speedometer went out, and more. If you are ever thinking about buying an old Tempo. . .don't!
