My wife and I recently purchased a 2008 Ford Taurus X. w/in the last 2wks we have experienced issues where the vehicle will no accelerate properly and in other instances accelerates w/O any pressure to the gas pedal. This presents safety issues in times when the vehicle should be in a standing position as well as times when it is moving. The issue has been diagnosed as a problem w/ throttle body. After doing further research online - this issue is not isolated to our vehicle. I am not only afraid of what might happen while we are driving our vehicle - now I am also wary of what happen w/ the other Taurus X's and freestyles like ours. Should this not be part of some greater recall to protect the safety of all drivers and pedestrians? please respond to this to let me know that this is even being reviewed and acknowledged.
