Issue with power steering (no power assist making it extremely hard to steer at low speeds) happened for the first time on Monday. I decided to try to drive it to the dealer so they could diagnose the problem but, alas, after I turned off the engine it no longer was a problem. Today (3 days later), Wednesday, it happened again and I left it running so they could diagnose it and they think it may be the power steering module. Anywhere from $400-$1800 repair. They are keeping it overnight. Car has been meticulously maintained by Ford dealer only. Only has 45K miles. I'm pissed.
