Please allow submission of additional information regarding issues with my 2013 Ford Taurus Police Interceptor. As stated on the previous complaint filed on 1/9/2024, I got my car service at AutoNation Ford Service Center on 12/16/2023, and I brought it back to the service center on Saturday, 12/23/2023 because of the car-??s poor performance and engine had laminated on 12/17/2023. Issues such as: exhaust system, fuel system, the driver exterior door handle is loose, and seat belt gets jammed.
I had problems with my fuel injection for almost 2 years looked it up and even took it to 3 dealerships and a full services place all saying the same thing. So I looked it up and there was a recall for it and seatbelts and airbags but my VIN# wasn't on the list. Everyone I know who got a car like mines had the recall and was fixed. I am now paying out of pocket for the airbags and my radio and back cam now is acting crazy show upside down and the radio keep going out. I need some help can't afford all these issues with my car when they are on your recall list.please if you can re-evaluate my number the back cam acts up when backing up everything is upside down. The fuel injection have problems when starting and while driving it will slow down then caught up and speed up. The airbags recently came out getting it fix by a body shop and paying out of pocket to keep my insurance from totaling it out. The seat belts keep locking up at times. Love my car please help if possible

The drivers side seat belt has spooled all the way out and will not retract on 2013 Ford Taurus. New parts on the way, but shouldn't the seat belt assembly last more than 4-5 years?..updated 01/04/17 the consumer stated the vehicle was repaired. Updated 08/10/2017
On Saturday, Aug 17th, our 2013 Ford Taurus police interceptor (sedan) VIN:[xxx] was stopped at a place of business and turned off. Initially, the vehicle would not restart. After a few minutes the vehicle started but would not move. The vehicle was removed from the premises by a wrecker and taken to griffin Ford co in thomasville, ga. This date, Aug. 22, 2013, I spoke with a serviceman at griffin Ford and was told that the front wheel axle had broken and that the repair part would be back-ordered (placed on an emergency need basis), but no repair time frame could be given due to the fact that there were no replacement parts in the country. We have had previous problems with both of our (above VIN # and VIN:[xxx]) 2013 Ford Taurus police vehicles with the problems previous to this being excessive gas fumes within both vehicles (fuel pump was replaced before recall was issued on both cars but after receiving recall, fuel pumps were again replaced), check engine light was on (evaporative emissions solenoid was replaced, air bag light was on, seat belt sensor was bad and the buckle/sensor was replaced. All of these issues have occurred this year. As you are aware, all repairs take time and we are especially concerned about the time frame to receive and repair the wheel axle. Have there been other reports of this type of problem? looking forward to a response from your Agency.
