I bought our 2013 Taurus in 2016 and it hand only 13,000 miles on it. The previous owner had the fuel pump and fuel module replaced. I think this was because of a recall or the car was acting up. Since we owned the car we have also had the fuel pump and fuel module replaced. The car still leaks gasoline leaving a puddle on the driveway. The car dies sometime while driving and you have to pull over shut the car off and turn it back on to keep driving. The car will run rough sometimes jerking and sputtering. Sometimes the engine light will come on and then it will go back off. We have had this car to the dealer multiple times and to other repair centers. Now I hear that the dealer doesn't really know whats wrong but they will replace the gas tank for $1700. Really! The car has had an issue since it had 10,000 miles on it and now with 40,000 it is just a lemon.
