My Taurus Limited was ordered with multi contour seats with active motion. After only a week of driving, the passenger seat became rock hard, and there was also two deep spots in the seat where your rear would be. My wife, who weighs around 110Lbs was the only one who sat there. After the dealership where I got the car tried their best to deter me from getting it taken care of. I went to another dealership who got approval to replace the seat cushion, and the leather seat bottom. Took it in and when I got it back the new cushion was fine but the leather wasn't replaced. They said the leather wasn't sent to them. Now I'm in the process of trying to get the leather replaced. Even though the cushion is fine, you can still see, and feel the deep dents in the seat. I was told the leather actually has other stuff attached so it's like a half inch or so thick. And because the cushion is now soft, my wife can feel the spots even more than before. The dealership where I bought the car told me they needed the car for a whole day to drive around to other dealerships to compare it to other Taurus seats that have multi contour seats, They also told me that in order to remove the seat to repair it, a fair amont of damage would happen to a few areas around the seat in order to get the seat out, and that damage caused by removing the seat wouldn't be covered under warranty. So if I wanted the damage repaired I would have to pay for it. Has onyone out there had a similar problem? The car has numerous other problems such as most of the stuff that is to turn on when remote started such as heated or cooled seats, rear defroster, heated steering wheel, etc. I'll post on that later.
