Purchased car Jan 2014. Car had 28,811 miles on it. Went 12 miles to town one day in Mar 2014. Got out of car and smelled something hot. Could feel heat on driver rear brake. Went directly to dealer we purchased the car from. They put on new calipers. Problem was still not all fixed. Ended up putting on all new brake parts. Ford said it probably was due to the stuff they spray on the roads for ice. I hope the other three brakes don't disintegrate due to the same problem. The dealer was very good about fixing it and they absorbed the cost, as we had only had the car for less than 2 months. Pretty scary. Don't say much for Fords brakes if you ask me.
