Summary

FORD: DELAYED BRAKE SHIFT INTERLOCK RELEASE DURING ENGINE START IS DESIGNED TO PREVENT THE SHIFT LEVER FROM BEING MOVED OUT OF PARK UNTIL THE ENGINE IS RUNNING. ATTEMPTING TO SHIFT OUT OF PARK BEFORE THE ENGINE IS RUNNING WILL PREVENT THE ENGINE FROM CRANKING/STARTING. *PE
