This is really f__ up. I am still paying a loan for this piece of s___ car. Don't get me wrong, the car looked good. It ran well until oil started spraying all over. I took it to a shop and I was told the oil was coming out of a weep hole. A friend of mine knew a guy, and this guy took the car, cleaned it up, and he told me it leaked at the timing chain gasket. He fixed it, and the car was running well, then three weeks later the engine light came on. It started overheating so I checked it out and the overflow tank was empty.

I looked for leaks and did not see any so I put antifreeze in it and looked at the whole thing. The next day the same thing happened, so now when you give the car gas, it starts tapping. I don't know if it is the water pump - I still can not find a leak anywhere. I was told that I need a new engine.

I’ve seen the same complaints on this web site. My problem is I cannot pay off the loan. I just got the car a year ago and I am on ssd raising 3 teenage girls - it is not easy. Now I have to come up with money for another car. I think Ford needs to recall the 2010 Taurus. Come on - this car I have is not the only car with this problem. It's just not right - this is not good business. Somebody needs to look into this problem now.
