I"m a single mother of 2. I'm really starting to have major car problems. In 2/07 I broke my ankle which I wasn't able to drive the car for 4 months, I knew that it had started acting up but it got worst since the car had sat that long. In 7/07 I got the car fixed...So I thought, I made the mistake of buying a used transmission, because I know I didn't have the 3,000 Danco, or Aamco wanted. So I bought this from a local junk yard. It cost me 1,200 I'm thinking I'm saving money. Only to find out that my car lasted 5 months no signs or symptoms. It just STOPPED!! one morning on my way to work.
I'm almost done with paying off this car, I would of have been done if in 06 I haven't lost my job, and now I'm just working thru the temp service.
Any suggestings, just fix it since I already know what my problem is with this car? Or get someone elsle problem?
