After just over 100,000 miles the catalytic converter went. I took it to multiple places, eaching quoting over $1200 to fix it. This car is a piece of junk. I drive a Ford daily, but I would never ever recommend a Taurus to anyone. I have a Honda Odyssey over 260,000 miles and I think it will outlast this piece of junk. I've had several other issues with this car.
