I am no longer able to open the hood of the car, the release lever in the driver side of the car is not causing the latch to release. I tried pulling on the wire, it does not feel like it is loose but it is not releasing the latch. I suspect I am going to have to get on my knees in front of the car and try to jam a long enough screwdriver into the latch and wiggle it around until I can find the part that needs to be pushed to make it release.
