I got in my vehicle and fixing to go to work and put it in reverse and RPMs shot up but didnt move. Motoring running normally. I then put it in park and tried reverse again; again RPMs shot up, then tried other gears and none worked. I killed my car and recranked and repeated above steps with same results. This happened in July and it is now Sept 20, 2011 and my vehicle is still in the shop and still not fixed. I bought my vehicle used in May 2010 from Jay Mallard Ford in Jonesboro, LA. Never had a moments trouble with this vehicle. There was no warnings of a problem. My vehicle was well maintained and service during my ownership. I am just thankful I was not stranded anywhere and didnt have a wreck with this malfunction.
