Car barely moves when in drive then suddenly lunges or jerks forward. Mechanics could not determine the problem from the beginning. Car doesn't travel up hills or inclines. Very slow taking off and then jerks forwards. I'm told need new transmission but different websites I've recently searched state torque converter may be the problem. I will never buy another Ford car. With this model the air/heat system was not good. The air never got cool enough and the heat never hot. Car would take 30 minutes to an hour just to defrost the windows.
