- How To Fix 2004 Ford Heater (Heater Blend Door - If your heater is not working , put pins on each side of your raidio deck to remove the stero. When you have done so your (Heater/Blend Door Box) will be on the right hand side towards the back near the floor board. It should be a black box/ or white box. Remove it with a 8mm socket wrench. Go to a juck yard to repace the part I got it for 9 bucks. Once you have the part relpace it and your heater will be working just fine! It saved me over 1,300 dollars! It takes about 15 min to fix. I hope this helped.

I have had every problem many others have had with this car. The transmission torque converter went out the ac went out the radiator was replaced and now the heat. It blows cold air had it in the shop three times and three different things replaced. No luck yet. I would like to hear from someone who had theirs fixed and it worked. Had the damper door thing replaced and two other things but it is not even warm enough to feel the least bit comfortable. Actually it is rather cold. I have spent over 500.00 so far.
