Consumer stated that she strapped a child in a seat belt in the rear of vehicle. Later on the child became tangled in the seat belt, and each time an attempt was made to release the child from the seat belt, the seat belt got tighter and tighter. The seat belt was so tight on the child's stomach that she had to flag down another motorist, and get him to cut the seat belt from around the child. The child was only 8 years old. This encounter left black and blue marks on the child.
