Check engine light turned on in October 2005 and was told it was a failure of egr sensor; light turned off when I added more coolant to the reservoir, which was empty but not generating a heating message. Light turned back on after next gas fill.
The consumer stated the emission sensor light continued to stay on. The part has been replaced, however the light is now back on. Please provide additional information.
Engine check light illuminated and remained on while driving. Vehicle was diagnose by state inspection station of a failed control auxiliary emission unit, which needed to be replaced.
Pressure egr valve failure. Ford has acknowledged problem by extending warranty for 2 years, 24K, but this problem should be viewed for possible mandatory recall.
