The consumer states that the engine had a lack of breaking, a malfunction in the transmission shifting, the left front window had locked, the switch caused the starter to become inop/remain in power, and the ignition switch locked in the start position. The dealer refused to remedy the problem.
Consumer states while driving in center lane the vehicle stalled w/O warning. Consumer restarted vehicle, but it would only travel approx. 2mph. Once on the side of the road, consumer restarted vehicle again and rpms revved excessively.
Car stalled/shut down while driving under normal conditions. Car would not start until after it sat for approximately 30 minutes. Dealer service found no codes in the computer. I am worried that this will happen again in a more dangerous situation such as freeway driving resulting in a major accident and injuries.
There was a problem with tires. Tires were causing vehicle to shake when driving due to improper design of the tire belt. Contacted dealer, and dealer replaced tires at 1600 miles. P215/60R16, replacement tires, 4000 miles, mounted on a 2001, Ford, Taurus. The vehicle still sways and shakes, even after the tires and rims had been replaced. Alternator failed and was replaced. There was rattle noise from windshield /dash area.
When key is turned to start engine ignition switch will not return to the number 4 position. Vehicle checked by dealer, who advised consumer that it is suppose to work that way. Consumer stated the starter blew up, the brakes were inoperative, the transmission does not shift properly, the windows were inoperative.

Consumer states that vehicle had shut off causing a car crash. Nlm consumer adds there was a loud noise when put in reverse and drive at times and goes into gear very hard, then the transmission went out in the vehicle while driving, dealer replaced transmission and worn planetary gears. Eleven days after vehicle was repaired, the engine cut off causing an accident. Consumer loss all power with steering and brakes. Consumer states there is a sqeaking noise in right front and drivers seat when driving. No problem found.
Vehicle experiences hesitation and is sluggish on take off, there is a buzzing noise in the engine when putting in park position, dealer tightened bolts and motor mount to alleviate grinding noise in engine.
When using turn signal to go left or right signal will go out before turn is made. Took to dealer and had it repaired, but problem still exists. The turn signal was repaired twice, but the problem still exists. The exhaust makes humming sound when at idle. Wiper blade failed and was replaced. The vehicle gets low mileage when A/C on, the engine was leaking oil.
There was some leaking from radiator which was caused by a cracked hose. Taken to dealer and dealer replaced hose. A few months later, problem was still occurring. Consumer states engine light is illuminated, dealer replaced the O2 sensor and water pump, the engine light remains illuminated. Consumer states the air conditioner was blowing hot air and consumer experienced an asthma attack.
