2000 Ford Taurus attorney representing consumer writes in regards to vehicle defective power window switch the consumer's son inadvertently activated the defective and unsafe power window switch. The window closed around his head and neck preventing him from calling to his mother. The consumer was unaware her some was in trapped, because she was cleaning the snow from the car. The consumer finally noticed her son in distress and attempted to resuscitate him. Moments later, she rushed him to the hospital. As a result of the defective window system, her son suffered severe and permanent injuries.
2000 Ford Taurus with several repairs made. Consumer states that the vehicle had the heads on the motor replaced twice, driver side window would not go up or down. Coolant reservoir was replaced. Transmission had work done to it, and the back lock does not operate correctly. There was a problem with the emission control system.
Windshield wipers willnot operate at all. Airbag light appears on the dashboard intermittently. Also, windows will go up and down without prior warning.
