NHTSA recall campaign 04V332000 concerning front coil springs. While performing recall repairs mechanic determined that the front driver's side lower ball joint, and the tie rod broke, and needed to be replaced.
Passenger's right side tire sheared off while traveling 55 mph. Consumer was unable to move the vehicle, and had it towed to the dealer. Mechanic determined that both front driver's side and passenger's side lower ball joints needed to be replaced.
When pulling out of the driving right front wheel detached from the vehicle. Consumer took vehicle to a repair shop, where the lower ball joints were replaced due to rust and wear. Consumer still has the defective lower ball joints.
