Rounded a curve and realized the oncoming car was in my lane. Steered left to avoid oncoming car at the same time the opposing driver corrected. Steered to the right and went into a spin. The airbag deployed while the I was attempting to regain control and the windshield was completely shattered. Once the airbag deployed, the car was still moving and I had to steer it to safety without being about to see around the airbag. There was no impact before the airbag deployed.
The contact owns a 1999 Ford Taurus. While driving 40 mph something hit the windshield and shattered it. The driver crashed into objects that she could not identify. The crash occurred on February 10, 2008. The seat belts didn't engage to keep her from hittin the steering wheel. The air bags did not deploy. The contact sustained severe injuries. A police report was available. The current and failure mileages was 67,473. Updated 04/22/08.

The contact has not had the vehicle inspected to determine the reason for the crash. The contact was able to drive the vehicle home. The vehicle currently had an odometer reading of 100,000. Miles.
Consumer's vehicle rear end another vehicle in front at 35 mph. Upon impact, neither frontal air bag deployed. No injuries were reported. Dealer and the manufacturer were notified.
The consumers vehicle was hit while driving and the automobile spun around three times then hit a pole. Both air bags deployed but the drivers air bag burst open and a white substance came out of it. Please give response in regarding air bags.

The vehicle rack and pinion was replaced at 54000. The vehicle was involved in a head on collision. The driver's air bag partially deployed and the passenger's air bag did not deploy.
Consumer's vehicle was involved in a frontal crash while traveling 48 mph. Both frontal air bags failed to deploy, and driver sustained chest and neck injuries when thrown into the steering column. Vehicle has not been examined to determine a cause for this problem. Please provide any additional information / documentation.
Vehicle involved in a frontal collision into a tree on passenger's side while driving at 40 mph. Upon impact, both frontal air bags did not deploy. Dealer / manufacturer were notified. Feel free to provide any further information.
While traveling at 45 mph, another car ran driver off the road and hit curve on front left tire. Airbag went off, but not when curve was hit, but a couple of seconds later.
While slowing down to make a left turn other vehicle was coming on opposite direction and hit consumer's vehicle on driver's side, causing it to crash into a tree. Upon impact, air bags did not deploy.

While driving on highway another vehicle in front was rear ended by consumer's vehicle. Upon impct, driver's and passenger's air bags failed to deploy. Vehicle was totaled.
Consumer was driving and coming out of the parking lot when another vehicle hit him it from the left side on the passenger's side. Airbag went off in driver's face. The left side of his face became numb, and his glasses blew off of his face and broke. Also, and burn marks are on his face.
Consumer was changing lanes and there was another car coming up on the side. Consumer cot control. Tried to straighten up and went into center divider. Bounced 15 feet, and back of car landed against center divider. Consumer/ passenger were wearing seatbelts. Airbags could have prevented the injuries they sustained. Consumer said it was just a service lender while getting there car repaired.
While driving at 25 mph hit a manhole within the road and the front wheels went into the manhole, and the cradle that protects the engine hit the manhole, to set off the air bag sensor which caused the driver's side/ passenger's side air bags to deploy. Cover to the air bags flew into the windshield and cracked the windshield glass, and glass got inside the vehicle. Dashboard was damaged by the air bags.
Consumer was driving vehicle when another vehicle jumped in front of her. Upon applying the brakes, she hit the car from behind, and airbags didn't deploy at all.
