Vehicle hesitated to accelerate when the gas pedal was depressed from a stop position. Intermittently this failure occurred while driving. On one occasion, when this failure occurred, it resulted in consumer's vehicle being rear ended. Dealership serviced the vehicle several times, and performed a diagnostic test, in which no failure code was found. But the failure recurred.
Vehicle was going 70 mph when accelerator pedal fell off, causing the vehicle to lurch forward. Dealer was notified. And was aware of problem. Consumer stated that the cruise control was not on but it engaged on its own.
When pulling into a parking space, gas pedal stuck to floor and vehicle accelerated and took off, consumer hit a car/some trees and a fence. Vehicle rolled over before coming to a stop. Vehicle was a total loss.
Intermittently accelerator sticks, causing vehicle to surge forward unexpectedly. Dealer has replaced the throttle body, and the problem still exists. Manufacturer has been notified.

Vehicle does not slow down when accelerator pedal is released on highway. Car will accelerate when going down hill. This happens with and without cruise control. When cruise is set to 65 mph car will accelreate to 90 mph going down a hill. Dealer says this is part of the design?? have to ride the brakes on the interstate. This is not safe and costly in brake jobs.
While driving and taking the foot off gas pedal, the vehicle does not slow down as it suppose to, and may cause a crash. Dealer said its the characteristic of the vehicle.
