I bought the car used with about 85,000 miles on it. Within the first year I owned the car the speakers completely quit functioning. Took it to the Ford dealership and they couldn't even give an estimate to fix the problem. Apparently, in order to make sound emit from the vehicle you have to rip apart all four doors of the car and re-do the entire electrical system. While it may not seem like an inconvenience, imagine a 8 hour car trip with your dad or grandmother in total silence.
