If your Ford wont get out of park, dont let the dealer try to sell you a new trans. Dont replace your steering column. And its not your Shifter either!
Try turning on the ignition with out turning on the car, now see if you can move the shifter to neutral, cool aye, if so its to due with your brake pedal sensor! No really look for the sensor and see if the connection may be loose. This is a easy fix. You might want to use locktight or super glue or nail polish to secure your work!
